Honestly, I have never seen such a clean and well organised zoo anywhere in the world. I highly recommend this place not only for kids but people of any age. It is a huge place so get ready to walk a lot. You can take a paid tram too. Consider 5-6 hours to see all, if you want to make it relaxing then walk 6-7 hours. Best part of the zoo is animals are less restricted. There is no over crowding of animals. It feels like more natural. Enjoyed shows too. Keep yourself hydrated and enjoy.
MoreLocated on the north-western side of the island, the Singapore Zoo is a haven for wondrous wildlife and a must-visit for animal lovers.
This beloved establishment first opened its gates to the public in 1973, and has since become one of the best rainforest zoos in the world.
Besides being home to over 2,800 animals from 300 species—including crocodiles, Malayan tapirs and white tigers—the zoo has won a trove of international and local awards.
These include plaudits from Forbes Traveler as one of the best zoos in the world, the Asian Attraction Awards for Most Popular Attraction in the Wildlife Park category and the STB 22nd Tourism Award for Best Leisure Attraction Experience of the Year. It was ranked as one of the 3 zoos in the world by the Travellers’ Choice Award in 2018.

wonderful clean fun place to bring family kids seniors. wheelchair accessible animals are nearby each other only short walk
a well kept zoo with various animals. able to spend a whole day here but be prepared to walk, though trams are available. shows are also free to watch so be sure to plan the times well
The Singapore Zoo is famous for its Open Concept rainforest environment. Set admidst lush greenery, the variety of animals is amazing. having a focus on a lot of rare & endangered species. Making it a popular attraction for nature enthusiasts and families alike. There have animals feeding at certain zones, lovely ability to feed some of them at a small cost, pre-booked, There also have several unique animal shows worth seeing.
One of the best zoo experiences I’ve had at Singapore Zoo. Lots of great enclosures and shows catered for visitors. The garden is also very huge and children friendly with places like Kidz World and Adventure Trail to keep the kids busy and active.Trip.com also has the park hopper pass which is very handy and worthwhile in terms of cost-effectiveness. Great for tourists visiting Singapore for a few days as the pass can but used within 7 days upon its first activation.
It's also a zoo but it's very strange 😁 It's pitch black. I went to the zoo during the day and went on a night safari at 7:30 p.m. I thought it was the same thing but they were two different experiences. If you go to the zoo and freely wander in there for as long as you want, calmly watching all kinds of wildlife when it's still bright (I'm most impressed with the white tiger swimming area), then on the night safari you will be able to get on the shuttle. 1 round to see animals at night.
